‘Just Down The Road’ is a collection of three self-contained cabins located in the historic town of Branxholm. This once-sleepy tin mining town is the perfect location for those with relaxation, romance, or adventure on their mind. Every cabin has been built with style and comfort in mind, they are raw yet refined. Think exposed Tasmanian timber cladding, bespoke streamlined joinery and large windows allowing guests to enjoy uninterrupted views of the Hops Farm next door and beyond. With a private outdoor bath and deck and a communal space featuring a fire pit, BBQ and barrel sauna it is the ideal spot to unwind, read a book or enjoy a few drinks on sunset. Designed for couples each cabin sleeps two; however, the large communal space makes ‘just down the road’ great for small groups when two cabins are booked together.

This peaceful eco-retreat has 6 self-contained cottages on the banks of the Ringarooma River - just 8 km from Blue Derby MTB trails. Two-bedroom cottages suit couples and families. While studio cottages with outdoor spa are perfect for a romantic getaway. You can wander along the riverbank, explore bush trails or mingle with friendly alpacas on the 36-acre private alpaca farm. River-based activities are great too and include swimming, kayaking and fishing. Because you have your own BBQ, why not cook up that trout you just caught? The hosts are serious about reducing waste. So they will help you compost food waste, recycle your empties and avoid disposable plastics. A micro-hydro generator and solar panels generate electricity for the cottages and exports the surplus into the grid. In addition, three-phase EV chargers are available for guests. Basic breakfast ingredients are provided. The cottages are close to wineries, cheese-makers, waterfalls, beaches, Musselroe wind farm, sensational golf courses and Blue Derby mountain bike trails.

This self-contained hut offers budget accommodation just 8km from the Blue Derby mountain bike trails. It has been set up for cyclists and bushwalkers. So it has a well-equipped kitchen and laundry facility, DVD player, a separate bathroom with shower and toilet and a private outdoor BBQ area. Continental breakfast ingredients are included. The privacy of the hut is ideal for a family or small group of up to four friends wanting to explore the area or ride the Blue Derby mountain bike trails. It is so much better than camping!
