The roundhouses are truly environmentally sustainable (not just the odd LED lightbulb or two!), using local and natural materials, local timbers, local artisans, and minimal plastics. Under-slab insulation, thick straw walls, double glazed windows, and the round shape all add to the eco-design. Architecturally designed, the roundhouses achieved an exceptional energy rating, with underfloor heating, remote-controlled blinds and a cute log burner. Each roundhouse has high-quality wooden furniture including king-sized beds and luxury soft furnishings from Liberty of London, Studio G, and Canningvale. On-site is a wood-fired hot tub which you can book as a spa experience. We provide a pre-heated hot tub, bathrobes, towels, and a herbal and salt bath teabag. We also sell local wines and cider as well as cheese/cider platters. The Bear unit is designed for families with a massive heart oak solid king bed frame, and a small bunk bedroom for up to two children. The Otter unit, for couples, has the best window seat in Tasmania, and a solid Marri timber bed.
