Kitty's Mistake Vineyard & Cellar Door is a brand-new wine destination at Wineglass Bay Estate on Tasmania's spectacular East Coast. Set across 52 acres of absolute waterfront overlooking the internationally significant Moulting Lagoon, the estate is home to a newly planted one-hectare Pinot Noir vineyard, eight luxury adults-only retreats, the cellar door and WADE Restaurant. Kitty's Mistake is about good wine without the fuss. Drop into the cellar door to taste our range, enjoy a glass or bottle, then head outside to the expansive waterfront area, with plenty of space to sit, relax, take in the views, play a game of bocce and settle in beside the outdoor fireplaces. Sitting alongside the cellar door is the brand-new WADE Restaurant, led by Chef Wade Fordham. WADE celebrates the best of Tasmanian produce with relaxed, seasonal dining and dishes designed to share, many cooked over the Argentine Asado grill. Located on the gateway to Freycinet National Park, just minutes from Friendly Beaches and Coles Bay, Kitty's Mistake is an easy stop for visitors exploring the region — or a destination in itself. Come for a tasting, stay for lunch, linger over a glass, find a spot by the water or beside the fire, and settle in for the afternoon. It's a relaxed new way to experience Tasmania's East Coast.
