Turnstone Beach House was specifically designed for this site by well known coastal architect and identity Paul Witzig and it provides a stylish hideaway on the wonderful West coast of King Island. It is named after the Ruddy Turnstone a small bird that nests here on King Island after migrating from Siberia Turnstone has sweeping views of the Southern Ocean from every room including from the three bedrooms . Large double glazed windows naturally frame the surrounding coastal landscape. It is a memorable experience to view the rolling surf, a sunset, or a big storm from the comfort of the living room. There is a large lounge and dining area and a modern very well equipped kitchen. For comfort or even just " atmosphere" there is a wood fire or if you prefer a dual system heater/air-conditioner The dining table seats up to twelve and local caterers can cook and serve a dinner party by request All this just 10 minutes drive to the Airport, 15 minutes to Currie .
