Nestled amongst the vines in Beaconsfield, Tamar Gold Cellar Door is a warm and welcoming cellar door experience just 45 minutes from Launceston. Owners Patsy and Bruce invite visitors to slow down, settle in, and enjoy their premium Tasmanian wines in a relaxed vineyard setting. Wine tastings, wines by the glass and bottle, and Patsy's generous vineyard platters are all available, making it the perfect place to gather with friends or unwind after exploring the region. No matter the season, Tamar Gold offers a cosy place to pause. In winter, guests can warm up beside the indoor log fire or on the heated deck with a glass of wine or Patsy's much-loved mulled wine. In the warmer months, the outdoor deck and spacious grassed areas are ideal for long afternoons in the sun, with room for children and pets on leash to enjoy alongside you. Travelling the coast by caravan or motorhome? Tamar Gold also welcomes self-contained travellers, with a grassed parking area behind the vineyard where guests can stop, relax, and take in the peaceful surroundings on their journey. For those who prefer something other than wine, Tasmanian beer, cider, coffee, and soft drinks are also available.
