Enjoy light snacks throughout the evening, and if you're still hungry, the full dinner menu will be available for those keen to linger longer and savour some hearty local fare. For a small, select group of whisky enthusiasts, this isn't just a day of learning; it's an investment in your future dram! • Secure Your bottle: In just over two years, you'll have the exclusive opportunity to purchase whisky from the 20-litre cask you helped create, before it's released to the public! • The Ultimate Legacy: Or, for those with a grander vision, opt for a bottle from a 100-litre cask, ready in six or seven years, for an even more significant share of your handcrafted spirit. • We'll place a special label on all the bottles produced from your efforts, proudly acknowledging your direct contribution to its creation. After a massive day at the Tasmanian Spirit Showcase, we think everyone needs to sit back and relax together at The Best Little Pub in Hobart. Join in for a 7K x New Syd collaboration 4 years in the making, where we will split The G, drinking some great Irish dry stout and a Tasmanian Single Malt aged in said stout cask. Doors will open early, 3pm with a crackling fire, and a lineup ordered over the bar of fresh Guinness, cask aged Guinness on the hand pump and 7K Single Malt aged in an Irish dry stout seasoned cask. Tom and Chappy from 7K Distillery and Ash from New Sydney Hotel will be there, harping on about the collab, nicknamed Arthur's cask. Step into the spirited past of Tasmania's whisky legacy. This special exhibition traces the rise of the island's earliest distillers in the 1820s, the long silence that followed 150 years of prohibition, and the bold revival that began in the 1990s. Featuring rare artefacts, vintage bottles, archival material and colourful stories, A Small Nip is a tribute to the perseverance, passion, and rebellion that have shaped Tasmania's place on the global whisky stage.

A stunning heritage-listed stone church (with sauna), as featured on ABC TV's Restorations Australia, converted into a boutique home and events space. St Martin's is just 30 mins from Hobart airport. It is nestled in the old fishing village of Dunalley, the gateway to the stunning Tasman peninsula, with the harbour visible on one side and the ocean on the other. St Martin's has been lovingly restored and adorned with period antiques. A modern architectural addition at the back of the building has been respectfully erected to complement and extend the main living area. It presents a modern, beautiful kitchen and bathroom with 'sho-sugi-ban' cladding (traditional Japanese charred timbers) and an open deck with inbuilt seating, firepit and sea views. In the garden sits a generous Norwegian spruce sauna with traditional stone steaming, complementing the internal fireplace and wall panel heating. Gardens envelope the property. The main bed is a Murphy bed, enabling it to be flipped into the wall to create an open events space.

Banyula cottage is situated at Dunalley and located at the back of a one-acre property yet still far enough away to ensure privacy. Enjoy the peace and quiet of this beautiful country town while listening to the birds chirp away. The cottage contains a loft bed, allowing for a fully functioning kitchen, room for a lounge, dining table, and a neat bathroom. Only a couple of minutes walk to the local café and bakeries, not to mention the attractions of the Tasman Peninsula.

The perfect place to get away, relax and explore the incredible sights of the Tasman Peninsula. Flotsam is situated on the edge of the Dunalley Bay, the gateway to the Tasman Peninsula and Port Arthur. The Studios are designed for two. Both have sweeping views of the Bay and the gentle casuarina landscape.
