Cute and cozy sunny converted barn in a central location, located near the neck beach on Bruny Island. Enjoy ocean views from the lounge sofa or whilst lying in bed upstairs in the loft. Situated on 8 beautiful acres with pasture and bush, next door to the main home, but you'll still enjoy privacy and peace, only with the occasional horse and dog that may visit from time to time! Simple facilities, including a heater, microwave, fridge, sink with cold water, kettle, toaster, induction cooktop, and small TV. The double bed is upstairs in the loft, but please note, the stairs to the loft are quite steep. Bedding and towels provided. There is an outdoor gas shower, or you are welcome to use the shower in the main house if we are home. There is a camping toilet or bush toilet, or you may use the house toilet if we are home. A very peaceful location with lots of birdlife and walks nearby. It's a picturesque 10-minute coastal walk along to the beach and just five minutes to the sea cave.

Offering several camping sites, on grassy, level land, ideal for self-sufficient campers looking for a convenient base to explore Bruny Island. The camping area is bordered by a striking eucalyptus forest, with plenty of space and an abundance of natural wildlife. You will be visited by wallabys, water hens, and a myriad of other birds during your stay. Directions: Travel from the ferry at Roberts Point towards Alonnah. Pass the turn off to Adventure Bay on your left. Keep going towards Alonnah. Keep your eye out for the bread fridge on the corner of Bruny Island Main Road and Sheepwash Road. Turn right down Sheepwash Road. The gate is 100m past the bread fridge when driving down Sheepwash Road. The gate will be on your left. Local attractions: There are many beautiful walks nearby, and plenty of local attractions.
