Harnon Sauna is a wood-fired mobile sauna experience located on Hobart's iconic waterfront at Long Beach, Sandy Bay. Inspired by centuries-old northern sauna traditions and shaped by Tasmania's wild coastline, Harnon invites visitors to move through cycles of heat, cold, rest and connection. Guests can enjoy the warmth of a handcrafted timber sauna before cooling off with a cold shower or a dip in the ocean just steps away. Built by a local Tasmanian family using reclaimed materials and local timbers, the sauna offers a welcoming and authentic experience for both first-time visitors and seasoned sauna enthusiasts. Guided, social and private sessions are available, with a focus on wellbeing, community and spending time in nature. Harnon provides a distinctly Tasmanian way to experience sauna culture, where the elements become part of the ritual.
