Charles Reuben Estate Vineyard, Distillery, Lavender Farm and accommodation is located at Tea Tree in Tasmania's Coal River Valley wine region. Tea Tree is a five-minute drive northwest of Richmond (8 km) and a 30-minute drive north of Hobart (35 km). The 'Pinot Cottage' is a secluded self-contained timber cottage on the vineyard with two bedrooms, a spa and a wood fire. A fully equipped European kitchen is part of the open plan lounge and dining area. The lounge room has a beautiful view over some of the vineyard and contains a wood fire. Established in 1990, the four-hectare/ten-acre Charles Reuben Estate has plantings of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Riesling in addition to other Bordeaux varieties. Since 2015 Charles Reuben Estate also grows high-quality Lavender varieties for oil production and culinary use. In April 2019 the family business also added a specialised brandy distillery. We produce the finest European style small batch fruit brandies as well as Cognac style aged brandy (available from late 2021). Currently we have a selection of fruit brandies available including cherry, apricot, raspberry and blood orange. In addition, we have made a Gin and an un-aged grape Brandy (Tisco)

Derwent Retreat is a self-contained waterfront holiday house at Austins Ferry, in Tasmania's South, most suitable for large groups and owners with traveling pets. Set on the banks of the River Derwent, it features privacy, absolute waterfront, and views. All main rooms have a view of the river and Mt Direction and the property is ideal for business or pleasure visits. Derwent Retreat is fully furnished and accommodates up to eleven guests. The house features three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, laundry, towels, linen, television and free wireless internet. The balcony has a gas barbecue and outdoor furniture making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal with a magnificent view. Fishing gear is provided, while bicycles and canoes are available on request. Derwent Retreat is surrounded by water, public parks, and the local yacht club with a launching ramp are a short distance away. It is also close to a number of attractions including Mona, Bonorong Wildlife Park, a golf and bowls club. Derwent Retreat is around a 15-minute drive (16 km) north of Hobart.
