Culture Club - Fermentation Workshop

Fermentation
An initiative of Smithton Sustainable Living Hub. The principal of fermentation is not to preserve food so much as to keep it alive! Watch wild yeasts, microbes and bacteria flourish and bubble as they work to enrichen, transform and enliven. Roll up yourselves for a hands-on learning experience as we share the traditional art of live fermented food. This workshop will cover – sauerkraut, sourdough starter, wild soda and apple cider vinegar. Take home recipes and samples of your own ferments.
