Golden light filters through the canopy, wallabies bounce past at dusk, and the only soundtrack is birdsong and the crackle of your own private campfire. Feeling energetic? Lace up your boots for the legendary "Giant Fern Track" – a heart-pumping descent down an old logging trail straight out of Jurassic Park. At the bottom, massive tree ferns (some 60+ years old) form a cool, green cathedral beside the rushing Cam River. It's steep, it's wild, and it's 100 % worth it.

Their horses make the property special as visitors can view them frolicking and enjoying the surrounding hills. If you visit in October you will get to see some of the newborn foals. Based on over 16 acres, look out onto another several hundred acres of farm land. The Night sky here is amazing with amazing opportunities to catch the Aurora Australis (southern lights) on camera. Located near the historical town of Ross, rich with convict heritage. Ross is based on the Macquarie River only one hour from Launceston and 1.5 hours from Hobart, the perfect midway point! The town of Ross offers a beautiful old-world vibe, visit the famous Bridge, the local antique shops or the wool shed. If you drive a little further, Oatlands is 35 minutes south and has a historical brewery which offers meals and many small business shops to explore. Campbell Town is 10 minutes north of Ross and has an IGA, bottle shop and many little stores including more antique shops.
