Kimberleys Lookout

Granit rocks reach out from the peak, and valley below

A 90 minute return walk with medium gradients (short stretches are steep), it provides stunning 360 degree views of the rolling agricultural hills of Kentish with a backdrop of Mt Roland, Cradle Mountain, the Great Western Tiers to the south and much of Tasmania's northern coastline to the north plus some dramatic valleys. Access to this walk is via High Street, which becomes Nook Road as it leaves the Sheffield township. The turn-off to the car park is next to the golf course, about two kilometres north from town.
