The only difficult thing about this tour is that guests can only choose one course! Two world-class, classic links courses are homed on King Island, a tiny island in the middle of Bass Strait. These courses are remote, spectacularly beautiful and suitably challenging – they are a golfer’s heaven. The choice is between Cape Wickham or Ocean Dunes. Hidden amongst the dunes where the beach is even considered “in play” and beneath Australia’s tallest lighthouse, Cape Wickham, is, in fact, one of the most remote golf courses in the world. Designed by Mike DeVries and Darius Oliver, Cape Wickham is #24 in the world and Australia's second-highest-ranked course. OR With several holes along its stunning two-kilometre stretch of ocean frontage and fairways weaving over and between sand dunes, Ocean Dunes is Australia's 13th-highest-ranking course. It is yet to receive an international ranking. Whatever your choice, the scene is set for some unforgettable golfIng, and with Air Adventure Golf, King Island is only a 40-minute flight from Melbourne. “Kintyre” is a fabulously private though easily accessible farm stay located in Loorana, about 10 minutes north of the airport, midway between Currie and Cape Wickham. Providing three bedrooms (two queen rooms and two singles in the third) and one bathroom, the home is set on a working farm complete with chooks and cattle. A comfortable cottage having been freshly painted with quality bedding, fire place, fully equipped kitchen with coffee machine, washing machine and dryer, large TV, WiFi, deck and relaxed garden setting.

Turnstone Beach House nestles on a point on the magnificent west coast of King Island. The Southern Ocean is visible on three sides and provides ever-changing views from every window. The house is energy efficient, double-glazed, modern and sits comfortably in the dunes. There are three bedrooms and bedding configurations allowing up to six guests; and a queen size sofa bed for overflow of up to two more if required. You will find spacious modern bathrooms, barbecue area, and spacious open kitchen, dining and living areas, as well as a full laundry. The dining table can seat up to twelve.
