Flinders Island is an incredibly special place situated just off the northeast coast of Tasmania. The island features ancient rock formations, stunning beaches, beautiful flora and fauna, and incredible opportunities for sunrise and sunset photography. During our trip, we will explore the island from top to bottom. Each day will be an adventure in capturing the island’s beauty through photography, from its impressive rock formations to the breathtaking views across the mountains. As a photographer, this region offers some of the best scenery in Tasmania—it's like experiencing a mini-Tasmania all on one island. The diversity of landscapes here provides unique photographic opportunities unlike anywhere else in Australia.

Explore two of Tasmania's most picturesque national parks as we go in search of the Tasmanian Devil in the wild. Cradle Mountain, with its rugged peaks and ancient rainforests, embodies the untouched beauty of nature. This Tasmanian icon, cradled in the wilderness, invites adventurers to forge their own path and discover the grandeur of its winding trails. Each step is a connection to the wild's timeless spirit, a reminder of the intrinsic beauty found when nature unfolds in its purest form. The Tarkine Wilderness, located in north-western Tasmania, is one of the largest cool temperate rainforests in the Southern Hemisphere. This pristine and remote area is renowned for its ancient myrtle beech forests, wild rivers, and unique ecosystems. The Tarkine is a biodiversity hotspot, hosting a variety of plant and animal species, some of which are rare and endangered. The landscape is characterized by rugged coastlines, dense forests, and buttongrass plains.

This tour is for beginners, intermediate, and professional photographers alike. The Tarkine Wilderness is a place that must be seen to be believed. It consists of entirely untouched, cool temperate rainforests and the wild and rugged west coast of Tasmania. It's a place of mystery and incredible beauty. Within the Tarkine region, you also have an array of untamed wild rivers, coastal heathlands, and incredible cave systems - all this inside a 447,000 hectare region. For 5 days, we will immerse ourselves in this wilderness. Daily photography tuition will give you a great understanding of how to capture nature at its best.
