Visit three of Southern Tasmania's most acclaimed distilleries: Spring Bay Distillery, renowned for its award-winning single malts. Killara Distillery, a family-owned farm distillery where you'll meet the owner and distiller, and Old Kempton Distillery, located within a beautifully restored heritage-listed building and home to some of Tasmania's most celebrated spirits. The day begins with morning tea overlooking the historic Richmond Bridge, featuring an award-winning Tasmanian cheese platter and local produce. From here, travel through the Southern Midlands to discover the craftsmanship and passion behind Tasmania's thriving distilling industry. Throughout the day, enjoy guided distillery tours, premium tastings of whisky, gin, vodka and liqueurs, and the rare opportunity to sample whisky straight from the still. A highlight of the day is lunch at Old Kempton Distillery, where you can relax and soak up the heritage atmosphere before touring the distillery and sampling its award-winning range.
