MONA - Museum of Old and New Art

Itinerary: 10.15am Catch the ferry from Hobart to Mona (departs from Brooke Street Pier). 10.45am Arrive at Mona, meet and greet with Mona Host for a quick welcome followed by self guided exploration of the museum and grounds. 12pm Make your way up to The Source Restaurant for a seated tasting of five highlight Moorilla and Domaine A wines at your table. 1pm Roll into a relaxed three-course set menu lunch with two of your favourite wines from the tasting, plus a hot beverage, at The Source Restaurant. Includes take-home memento courtesy of Mona host. 2.30pm Free time to explore Mona and the grounds, including live music on the Lawns. 5pm Return ferry to Hobart, arriving at Brooke St Pier at 5.30pm.

Secluded in very private waterfront bushland, The Pavilions at Mona are eight super-flash luxury dens, perfect for those who like their luxe accommodation to be both stimulating and relaxing. Aside from their shared—stunning—sunrise-aspect views of the River Derwent, each pavilion is uniquely adorned with artworks from Mona's private collection, bespoke furniture by Tasmanian designers, and furnishings from the likes of Philippe Starck, Patricia Urquiola and Ron Arad (plus the odd bit of pre-Columbian sculpture). As well as the usual niceties—spas, great sheets, fluffy bathrobes, primo minibar featuring wines made on the estate—guests receive a complimentary Moorilla wine tasting and daily breakfast in the lavish Source Restaurant. There are several other bars and restaurants on site, too. A stay in The Pavilions also gets you priority access to Mona—a bucket-list Tasmanian destination that's only made better by gloating that you stayed there as well.

Glenn Moore Accessible Units offer accessible self-contained accommodation for people with spinal cord injury and physical disability. Consisting of two spacious units, each with ceiling hoists. The main bedroom in each unit has an adjustable queen-sized bed, the second bedroom has two king-size beds, a large open living area, an accessible kitchen, low-level cupboards and easy access bathroom. The units are air-conditioned with undercover parking and free wi-fi. Glenn Moore Units are located close to transport and shopping Centres and are within 15 minutes of the Hobart CBD and only 10 minutes to MONA.

Derwent Vista is a self-contained waterfront holiday house at Austins Ferry, in Tasmania's South. Set on the banks of the River Derwent, it is ideal for business or pleasure visits. All main rooms have views of the river and Mt Direction. The house has a large riverside garden dominated by an ancient Bhutan Cyprus hedge and a very old elm planted by Lady Franklin. Derwent Vista is fully furnished and accommodates up to nine guests. The house features three bedrooms, the master bedroom with ensuite, and a separate bathroom with a separate toilet and wash basin. The modern fully-equipped kitchen has wonderful views and there is a separate laundry. On the deck, there is a barbecue. A dryer, television, stereo and free wireless internet are all available for your use. Fishing gear is provided, while canoes are available on request. The local yacht club and launching ramp are close by, as are shops and access to public transport. Austins Ferry is close to a number of attractions including MONA, Bonorong Wildlife Park and a number of golf and bowls clubs. Derwent Vista is around a 15-minute drive (16 km) north of Hobart.
