Wild Walls - Walls of Jerusalem 3 days circuit
Come dive into Tasmania's alpine playground - The Walls of Jerusalem is a wild, unforgettable mix of soaring cliffs, crystal-clear tarns, and ancient pencil pine forests, all spread across high-country trails that are challenging enough to feel adventurous but totally manageable for a steady, scenic pace. It's dramatic, remote, and breathtakingly beautiful; a must-do for anyone chasing a genuine Tassie adventure The journey kicks off with a climb up to Wild Dog campsite, perched on the plateau at the edge of Tasmania's "Mountain Kingdom." Spend the first night breathing in crisp alpine air, with hints of the peaks still to come. The next day, a gentle stroll through ancient pine forests, and past the dramatic Dolorite cliffs of the central walls, brings us to the second night's camp at Dixons Kingdom. After lunch, drop your packs and head up Mt Jerusalem for some truly speccy views. On the final morning, check the vibe, linger over a slow coffee by the lake, sleep in a little longer, or sneak in a side trip to Solomon's Throne? Then make your way back to Hobart with full hearts, tired legs, and plenty of stories to tell.
