This day adventure takes you into the deep south of Tasmania where we'll explore the highlights of this stunning region.
Soak in the views as we go further south. Head underground at Hastings Caves with a specialist guide to getting the low-down on the dramatic dolomite cave, one of only two of its kind in Australia. Warm-up with a dip in the 28-degree swimming pool which is fed by thermal springs.
From October to April, we enjoy lunch at the charming Kermandie Hotel before embarking on Tahune Adventures.
From water to sky, walk high amongst the treetops at Tahune Adventures. See some of the oldest trees living trees in Australia on the Huon Pine Trail, swing across a river on the swinging bridge, and walk 50 metres above the forest floor on the airwalk.
During the longer days of summer, our last stop is in the picturesque Huon Valley at the infamous Willie Smith’s Apple Shed. Discover why our island was once referred to as the Apple Isle as you sip on a tasting paddle.
