Tasmanian Luxe Wine & Gourmet Tour with Localing
Your day begins at 10:00 am with a hotel pick-up for an exclusive journey through northern Tasmania's wine country. The first stop is Josef Chromy Wines, where you'll enjoy a premium sparkling wine tasting paired with pastries while learning about Josef Chromy's inspiring journey from Czech refugee to winemaking pioneer. Next, indulge in a gourmet Tasmanian lunch, choosing between a wood-fired seasonal menu at Timbre or a private winery meal with expertly paired estate wines. In the afternoon, visit the House of Arras, Australia's most awarded sparkling wine producer. You'll be welcomed with a current-release tasting, followed by a vineyard stroll and an in-depth look at Tasmania's sparkling wine heritage. The experience culminates in a rare vertical tasting of Museum Cellar EJ Carr Late Disgorged Editions, paired with a gourmet picnic and possibly hosted by winemaking legend Ed Carr himself. The day concludes with a return to Launceston by 5:30 pm, after a luxurious and immersive day of fine wine, food, and regional storytelling.
