Spectacular Waterfalls - Long Exposure Photography Experience

double waterfall cascade in the forest at Russell Falls
low, wide cascade in the forest at Liffey Falls
Discover Tasmania's beautiful waterfalls and rainforest landscapes through the eyes of a local photographer. Wild Artistic's waterfall photography workshops are available in two locations: Liffey Falls in northern Tasmania and Russell Falls in the south. Choose the experience that best fits your Tasmanian itinerary and spend an immersive day learning to capture flowing water, changing light and the atmosphere of the surrounding forest. Led by experienced Tasmanian photographer Rick Budai, each small-group workshop combines practical photography tuition with time to explore and appreciate one of the island's most memorable natural settings. You'll learn how to use shutter speed creatively, compose compelling waterfall images and work confidently with filters and challenging forest light. Rick provides friendly, individual guidance throughout the experience, making the workshop suitable for enthusiastic beginners and more experienced photographers looking to refine their technique. There is plenty of time to experiment, ask questions and photograph without feeling rushed. Whether photography is a focus of your Tasmanian holiday or simply a rewarding way to experience the landscape, you'll leave with new skills, beautiful images and a deeper appreciation of Tasmania's wild places.
