Charles Reuben Estate is an award-winning vineyard and distillery in Tasmania's renowned Coal River Valley wine region. Located in Tea Tree, just five minutes northwest of Richmond (8 km) and 30 minutes north of Hobart (35 km), it offers exceptional wines and spirits in a scenic setting. Established in 1989, our three-hectare vineyard features Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Riesling, alongside select Bordeaux varieties. For over three decades, we've crafted high-quality wines, earning recognition for their distinct character. In April 2019, we expanded with a specialized brandy distillery, producing European-style small-batch fruit brandies and Cognac & Armagnac-style aged brandies. Our award-winning eau de vie (aqua vitae) is made onsite from locally grown fruit, celebrated for its versatility—ideal for cooking, desserts, or as a digestif. Just seven minutes off the beaten track, our estate is set in Tasmania's finest grape-growing region, working with an acclaimed winemaker to produce rare, distinguished wines from one of the valley's oldest vineyards. Our cellar door is open by appointment, inviting guests to experience our passion for winemaking and distillation. For a tranquil retreat, the 'Pinot Cottage' offers secluded, self-contained accommodation with two bedrooms, a European kitchen, a spa, and a wood fire. Discover Charles Reuben Estate, where tradition and innovation meet in every sip.
