Baileys Lane
Baileys Lane is just a five minutes' drive from Whitemark, Flinders Island's main centre, it's off the Lady Barron Road and down a short lane.
Set in a large grassed area, this north facing property reflects its 1950s origins. Decorated with an eclectic mix of contemporary art and 1950s retro and with sculptural works in the grounds, the property is set for a relaxing break. There are three bedrooms with a mix of king or queen size beds, two toilets, two showers, well three, if you count the hot outdoor shower and a bath in the main bathroom.
There is a separate lounge and a large kitchen, living, dining area. It's full of light and space with lots of atmosphere, you can enjoy the morning sun and the sound of the magpies. There is a gas cooker, heaps of bench space and the romance of a slow combustion stove, where you can cook great roasts and cakes if the fancy takes you.
The house is fully equipped with all the usual things to make a great holiday! A great place to entertain or just sit outside and take in the views of Mt Strzelecki. Baileys Lane also offers guests an edible garden and seasonal fruits like apricots and mulberries. Free wi-fi available.
