Tranquilles offers quality bed and breakfast accommodation in the seaside town of Port Sorell, in Tasmania's North. The Provence Suite has a spa bath and king size bed, the other three rooms (Iris and Shearwater and Garden have queen size beds. The Iris Suite has a spa. Bookings include a full continental and cooked breakfast in our bright and sunny dining room which overlooks our gardens. There is a Conservatory where guests can sit and relax, read, listen to music or watch television. Tranquilles also offers cooking classes by a series of experienced chefs from Tasmania and elsewhere, who will show you how to create great foodie experiences from the wide range of fresh produce, meats, seafood, and wines available in Tasmania. Tranquilles has a commercial kitchen which has recently been expanded to provide enough space and facilities to run the cooking classes, and cater for functions, such as weddings, parties and seminars. Port Sorell is a 20 minute drive (20 kilometres/12 miles) East of Devonport.

Each suite has a queen or king sized bed with full linen, own bathing and toilet facilities accessed from within the room. The rooms also have their own television with access to all free-to-air channels. Each room has its own reverse cycled air conditioner which provides great heating and cooling as required. A bar fridge is provided, and each room also has complementary coffee and tea making facilities with complementary piccolo bottle of wine, chocolates and biscuits for guests to relax and enjoy. Additional services such as cheese and fruit platters or dinner can be arranged by contacting the hosts when booking.
