Yakkalla Holiday Cottage is a modern self contained architecturally designed cottage set in the foothills of the Darling Range on Flinders Island. The cottage provides spectacular views of Pillingers Peak, Haulands Gap and Mount Strzelecki, all of which are within easy driving distance and are popular walking destinations. It is a great place for the bushwalker, avid photographer, bird watcher, and those in need of a relaxing place to enjoy their holiday. The cottage offers modern conveniences and a well equipped kitchen. The main bedroom has a comfortable queen size bed, with the other bedroom providing a tri-bed – a double and a single bed. There are two outdoor dining areas, a barbeque area or an undercover verandah. The cottage is located just eight kilometres from the township of Whitemark and the airport. It is directly opposite the popular Walkers Lookout road and is centrally located on the island so it is convenient to drive to the many beaches, walking tracks and the numerous scenic attractions. A comprehensive range of resources, including walking guides, time lines data, and historical material are all available to assist you with your stay on the island.
