Lake Burbury Camping Ground offers a grassed camping area at Lake Burbury, located on the edge of the World Heritage Wilderness Area. Campsites are available for a small daily fee and a caretaker is on site. Lake Burbury Camping Ground provides two good grassed sites next to Lake Burbury and is suitable for tents, caravans, campervans, motor homes and large vehicles. No need to book. A boat ramp and public toilets are available. Carry your own water and firewood. Have a picnic or use the coin-operated barbecues, fish in the lake or enjoy water sports such as kayaking and canoeing. Lake Burbury Camping Ground is located on the Lyell Highway around a three-hour drive (250 kilometres) south west of Launceston, or a 20-minute drive east of Queenstown.
