NAIDOC Week 2025 at QVMAG

The Off Season
The possum skin cloak, consisting of squares sewn together. Each square is etched with a picture.
Join us at QVMAG as we honour 50 years of NAIDOC Week—celebrating the history, culture, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. 2025 marks a significant milestone—50 years of celebrating Indigenous resilience, voice, and culture. This year's theme, The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy, invites all Australians to reflect on the legacy of our ancestors, celebrate the strength of our communities, and look ahead with hope and pride in the leadership of our young people. QVMAG is proud to support this legacy by providing opportunities to learn, reflect, and participate in activities that inspire connection and understanding across generations. In the lead up to and during NAIDOC Week, QVMAG is hosting free and ticketed events that highlight contemporary cultural practices, storytelling, and community connection.
