Stanley is a perfect base to spend time, and cloverleaf out into the greater Circular Head region.

In the heart of this beautiful township, Angel's Aisle Cottages offers warm hospitality and a peaceful place to unwind. From your cottage, you're just a short stroll to the beach, local eateries, the hotel, the Post Office, and favourite sights like the Nut and the Penguin Rookery. Everything is close, yet the atmosphere remains calm and unhurried. An inviting on‑site café serves fresh Tasmanian produce five days a week (closed Mondays and Tuesdays). A curated range of Tasmanian goods completes the small village‑style setting, where cobblestone paths and old‑world lanterns create the charm of an English lane. Each of the four self‑contained cottages is four‑star self‑rated and blends colonial character with modern comfort. Warm, welcoming, and full of charm, they offer ocean and mountain views—an ideal backdrop for relaxing after a day of exploring. Enjoy a room with a view - either over the town, towards 'The Nut', along sandy beaches or the rolling green hills. Perfect location, out the front door onto Church Street with cafes, galleries and quaint shops along the street next to the Stanley Hotel. All rooms have refurbished bathrooms and comfortable beds. A couple of rooms open onto the large verandah and deck. Typical of the era, all 10 rooms are upstairs and have to accommodate the quirks of an 1830’s building.
