Kelp Bar is the newest addition to Mures Fish Centre, perched on the top floor of the iconic waterfront venue on Victoria Dock. Designed to immerse guests in a celebration of sustainability and Tasmanian innovation, Kelp Bar offers a truly unique bar experience. As its name suggests, the venue is a tribute to Tasmania's ancient coastal landscapes. Signature cocktails are infused with maritime character, featuring ingredients like green laver seaweed, wakame, and smoked sea salts to evoke a strong sense of place. These drinks are carefully matched with bites from the menu, with select sips supporting the Great Southern Reef Foundation's kelp reforestation efforts. With hydrowood furnishings, a cosy indoor fire, and a balcony overlooking Constitution Dock to kunanyi/Mt Wellington, Kelp Bar is a destination for all seasons , memorable for its mission as much as its atmosphere.
