The vault doors open daily for bartender-led whisky tastings. There are two tastings to choose from, exploring local whiskies that rival the finest from around the globe. Australia's Oldest Whisky Tasting: $300pp, minimum 1 guest In partnership with Hellyers Road, The Tasman presents Australia's oldest whisky tasting flight. Sample sixty years of whisky heritage across three exquisite whiskies: Hellyers Road Voyager Cask 19 yr 57% Hellyers Road American Oak Oloroso de Jerez cask finish 20 yr 54.2% Hellyers Road Single Cask 2157.05 American Oak 21 yr 62.4% This tasting includes either half a dozen oysters or a cheese plate. Whisky Tasting: $140pp, minimum 2 guests Founded in 1997 on Tasmania's northwest coast by a group of dairy farmers, Hellyers Road is now known for producing some of Australia's best single malt whiskies and being a leader in peated whisky expressions: Hellyers Road Double Cask 46.2% Hellyers Road The Journeyman 46.2% Hellyers Road Peated 7yr 46.2% This tasting includes either a half a dozen oysters or a cheese plate. While they will make every endeavour to conduct your tasting in the Cellar, if the room is not available, this tasting may occur in a private opening of Mary Mary bar.
