Make your own intricate Faerie House with gnarly, moss cover trees, flowers, fungi, patterns, windows, door, shingles etc. An imaginary place where the faeries are sure to take up residence. Add a candle or light to brighten the lantern up from the inside. An intensive, yet fun, three days of clay making and decorating. Fully guided and supported. All clay, tools, materials, glazing and kiln firing costs are included. You will build your Faerie House using the slab building method. Any additions can be impressed, hand sculpted and added on (Lee-Anne will guide you with this). They'll leave an opening in the back for the candle/light of your choosing, cut out the door and windows, and add your decoration colours. Lee-Anne will twice fire in the kiln and apply clear glaze for you. You have great opportunity to personalise your Faerie House with detail. The piece you create will be available for pick up, with details given at the Workshop (approx 4 weeks later), and postage is available for interstate and international visitors at the attendee's expense. Suitable for adults - beginners to advanced potters are welcome At Harmony on High Street Campbell Town, Tasmania with Lee-Anne Peters.
