The living room has a wood heater and the cottage is situated within large leafy gardens, with convict-built stone walls and a sandstone verandah. Relax in front of the wood fire, or wander around the cottage garden. Alternately, get away from the hustle and bustle of city life in the ultra modern Villa Brier (minimum age 12). It offers a fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms both with ensuites, king-size beds, sound system and smart tv's above the beds. The main bedroom has a large spa and privacy is provided by your own courtyard and barbecue area with rural views. Red Brier is located in the centre of Richmond, a village famous for its Georgian architecture. Discover the convict history of the town, visit Australia's oldest bridge, or browse local shops. Richmond is a 30-minute drive (27 km) from Hobart.

The Cellar Studio Cottage features one large room with Queen bed, kitchenette and living and an en-suite bathroom.
