Luxury transport
A unique opportunity to walk with Aboriginal Elders and learn about one of the most ancient cultures in the world. Be part of a traditional welcome to Country smoking ceremony performed by Aboriginal Elder and visit significant sacred cultural sites. This is a once in a lifetime experience. North West Tasmania is steeped in Aboriginal Culture and this is an authentic opportunity to see the rugged North West of Tasmania through Aboriginal eyes. The itinerary is led by Aboriginal Elders who will enrich your understanding of the original custodians of the land and their culture. You will learn about the rich and ancient Aboriginal culture through ceremony, storytelling and connection to the Country by visiting sacred sites including petroglyphs, middens and former homes. You will visit culturally significant sites at West Point, Green Point and Sundown Point. It is here at the sacred sites at the behest of the Elders we evoke the spirit of the ancestors to impart their legend, and in the deep quiet when you are very still, the ancients may whisper to you. This is our untold story.
