This kayaking exploration of the calm waters of Bathurst Harbour and the Narrows is an ideal way to experience the majesty of the World Heritage Area wilderness if your time is at a premium, or you're new to paddling or wilderness camping. This trip uses a standing camp as a base, making this a wilderness kayaking experience with a splash of comfort. Visit the unique Celery Top Islands, paddle past ancient Huon pines, admire the mirror-like reflections at Moulters Inlet or walk Mt Beattie for stunning views of Bathurst Harbour. Trips are framed around the group's interests and the prevailing weather. This typically results in three to four hours of paddling each day with frequent rest stops and relaxing lunch breaks.

This trip is Australia's ultimate multi-day sea-kayaking experience and has been named by Lonely Planet as one of the world's ten epic sea-kayak paddles. Group sizes are limited to ten, with two guides, giving all participants an intimate encounter with Tasmania's famous Wilderness World Heritage Area. This paddle starts just 20 km from the city but you will experience an astounding variety of scenery. Paddle amongst tranquil bays and beneath lichen-covered cliffs, explore sea caves, enjoy views of Bruny Island and leave your footprints on idyllic sandy beaches. For lunch, enjoy Tasmania's famous produce whilst relaxing on one of our many beautiful beaches. Throughout your day, keep a look-out for the abundant wildlife that calls this Tinderbox Marine Reserve home, including majestic white-bellied sea eagles, stingrays, seals and if we're lucky a pod of dolphins or a migrating whale. This full-day paddle is operated in a one-way direction, depending on the forecast wind direction. It is a relaxed paddle and suitable for beginners and children over 12 when accompanied by an adult.

Experience the clear waters, long sandy beaches and granite peaks of Flinders Island. Touring Flinders Island on land offers a dramatic array of scenery – lush countryside, granite mountains, white beaches and secluded bays. But seeing this island from the water intensifies its magnificence. As you're skimming over the blue waters surrounding the island, it seems the mountains rise from the sea and stand as granite overlords to the paddocks, bush and coastline. The beaches are often bereft of humans with just the birds and wildlife and on the water the feeling is the same; just the birds above and the fishlife in the clear waters below.
