Devonport Sightseeing Tour

Enjoy a half-day tour along the North West Coast of Tasmania to beautiful Wynyard. Visit the Wonders of Wynyard Exhibition, explore the beach at Fossil Bluff. Photograph the Coastline from Table Cape Lookout. Visit the lighthouse of Wynyard. We will visit the Wonders of Wynyard Exhibition and Ransley Veteran Car Collection. A short drive for the majestic view of Boat Harbour Beach where you will enjoy a coffee and cake. All tours collect clients from their choice of pick up and drop off points.

Enjoy a relaxing day exploring some of the best wines that Northwest Tasmania has to offer! On this tour, we will visit Ghost Rock Winery, Eastford Creek Vineyard, and Prickly Mo’s Vineyard for tasting and a Tasmanian tasting platter. Also, you will have the opportunity to indulge some beautifully handmade Belgium Chocolate at the House of Anvers Chocolates. The Final indulgence for the day is a in-house made ice cream at the Berry Patch. All food and beverage tours need to be booked in advance to avoid disappointment We will attempt to work with the various produce operators to ensure guests dietary requirements are considered. Please Note: that due to government regulations, and Responsible Service of Alcohol only guest over the age of 18 can participate in these tours.

This part of Tasmania is diverse in history, scenery, culinary delights, and wildlife experiences. We work with our guest to customize their own tour.

We will take you on a drive through the beautiful Leven Valley with our first stop at Wings Wildlife Park. Here you will see a range of animals. We will then travel via Ulverstone along the coast to the picturesque seaside town of Penguin. Here you can take a photo beside the Big Penguin, visit the Penguin Visitor Information Centre. We will then travel the coastal route to Burnie, stopping in at Fernglade reserve for a chance to spot a platypus. Our final stop is at the Upper Burnie Lookout for a photographic view over Burnie.

This tour can be arranged as a full or half day tour. Half Day Tour duration 3 to 4 hours. Guests have two tour time options: Morning tour 9am to 1pm. Afternoon Tour 11am to 3pm. Full Day Tour duration 6 to 7 hours. Tour times 9am to 4pm. Spend the day exploring Burnie overlooking Emu Bay on Tasmania’s north-west coast. A vibrant shopping district that spills onto the beach for seafood and coffee. Fantastic food is available in Burnie's great choice of restaurants and cafes. Burnie's rolling hills enclose some impressive parks and gardens and are surrounded by beautiful beaches, sparkling water, and fresh air.

This tour is a full day tour duration of approximately 9 hours. Tour Times are 8am to 5pm. Tasmania has some of the best wineries in Australia. Tours a designed for couples or small groups (no larger than 6) to explore the various wineries and meet the makers of these fine products. Guests have the option to choose from a pre-designed tour, or collaborate with the tour operator to custom design their own experience. All tours include Lunch, bottled water and tea and coffee are provided throughout the day

We will take you on a beautiful drive along the Northwest coast to the beautiful seaside town of Stanley. On the way, we will visit the Lobster Ponds at Flowerdale. We will then travel on to the iconic Nut. Once we arrive you have the option to walk to the top for a beautiful 2 km walk around and take in the beautiful panoramic views of Stanley and the Northwest cost. During the Months from September to April, you can take the chairlift to the top of the Nut. We will visit Stanley’s Little Penguin Colony, and have the chance to walk the main street of Stanley. We will then commence our drive back along the coast detouring via Boat Harbour Beach, Table Cape Lighthouse and Lookout.

We will take you on a drive through the beautiful Leven Valley. We will visit Gunns Plains Caves, and Leven Canyon Lookout. Our route on return will be via the picturesque town of Penguin. Opportunity for photos with The Big Penguin, visit the Penguin Visitor Information Centre. We will then travel to Fernglade Reserve where you may be lucky and spot a platypus in the wild.

Spend a beautiful day traveling along rolling hills, farmland, and forests to the beautiful town of Sheffield overlooked by Mt Rowland. Spend some time walking around town admiring the various Murals of Sheffield. Visit one of the best souvenir shops in Tasmania. A short drive will take us to Tasmazia and the village of lower crackpot. Our afternoon will take us on a drive to Devonport via Anvers Chocolate Factory for afternoon tea (included in tour price).

Join us on a tasting journey along the beautiful Northwest coast of Tasmania. We will start the day off at the Taphouse - Penguin Beer Co, then travel to Devonport to visit Island Brewing and Southern Wild Distillery. The day sees us finishing at Communion Brewing Co.
