Priory Ridges Estate nestled in the scenic East Coast of Tasmania, presents a distinctive collection crafted in the esteemed Burgundian style under the meticulous guidance of Brian Franklin of Apsley Gorge Vineyard. Basking in abundant sunshine, our vineyard stands as the most northerly gem amidst East Coast Tasmania's vineyards, while its unique placement atop a granite seam infuses the wines with a unique flavour profile. This exceptional terroir not only enriches but elevates the complexity and character of each wine they produce. Every grape is carefully handpicked, ensuring the creation of premium wines that gracefully mature in French oak barrels. The cellar door is currently closed between March 2025 - September 2025. The Bay of Fires Women's Photography Escape is a multi-day small group experience in one of Tasmania's most striking coastal regions. Designed for women who would like to dedicate meaningful time to photography in nature, the escape combines immersive landscape experiences with supportive, guided learning. Set along Tasmania's north-east coast, the Bay of Fires is renowned for its white sands, turquoise waters and distinctive orange-lichen granite boulders. Over several days, participants explore a variety of coastal locations at different times of light, experiencing the subtle shifts in mood that shape each photographic opportunity. Led by nature photographer and guide Coreena Vieth of Shutterbug Walkabouts, the escape unfolds at an unhurried pace. Time in the field is balanced with informal tutorials and image review sessions, allowing learning to develop naturally through experience. The focus is on building confidence, refining technique and encouraging each participant's individual way of seeing, rather than rigid schedules or technical perfection. Shutterbug Walkabouts' Women's Photography Escapes offer an enriching blend of nature immersion, creative exploration and supportive mentoring, inviting women to step away from the everyday and return home creatively re-energised.

A world-class indoor reptile exhibit, based just out of St Helens, displaying exotic captive-bred reptiles presented in a quality museum setting. A keeper presentation and reptile interaction occur daily at midday. Outdoor cafe serving coffee, light snacks, and lunch. Accessible facilities provided. Presenting a unique hands-on visitor experience in herpetology with keeper-assisted handling. Interactive educational billboards stimulate the imagination into the mysteries of the natural world, conservation ideals, mythology, sustainability and reptile husbandry. The park features juvenile reptiles housed within extra-large feature sized enclosures to grow up into the Serpentarium family. Displaying hidden wonders of the world with natural gem displays, treasures, cultural, indigenous artefacts and custom presentations. The highlight offer of the Serpentarium is the hands-on visitor experience, provided through displaying educational billboards, offering keeper presentations and keeper-assisted handling. The Serpentarium shares a small library on the natural world and reptile husbandry, a microscope research station desk, and an outdoor rope climb play area for young adventurers. Enjoy a coffee, light snack or lunch at Rios Cafe, seated under the veranda alongside Rio, our Blue & Gold Macaw, while overlooking an open bush pasture, with accessible facilities.
