Orchestrated at Grain

An intimate dinner at Grain of the Silos featuring live music from the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra. Local produce, global talent - one extraordinary evening. Some nights are different. This is one of them. Two of Tasmania's great art forms. One unforgettable evening. Grain of the Silos is welcoming musicians from the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra for an intimate dinner where locally sourced, carefully curated food meets live classical music. Grain of the Silos welcomes a chamber music ensemble led by Guest Principal Oboe Rachel Bullen from the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra for a dinner where the island's harvest shares the stage with live classical music. We've long believed that the best meals are a kind of performance - from the producers, to the kitchen, on the plate and around the table. So it felt only right to invite some of Tasmania's most extraordinary performers to join us for an evening unlike any other. Food Director Massimo Mele and Executive Chef Thomas Pirker have crafted a menu that tells the story of this island. We've met the farmers, the makers, the talented Tasmanians who bring something extraordinary to every dish and on this night, we'll meet the musicians too. Each course arrives in its own moment, matched with wines from sommelier Calvin Ling and scored by the performers alongside you. This is Grain as you've never experienced it.
