Waterton Hall, a magnificent 1850s homestead is the home of Waterton Hall Wines. The Hall, historic outbuildings and surrounding vineyards enjoy sweeping views of the Tamar River, Northern Tasmania. The pristine riverbanks and cool climate of 41 degrees south, allow elegance and finesse from this single-estate vineyard in the Tamar Valley, Tasmania. Family-owned- one architect, one farmer, one interior designer, one finance director, and one labradoodle. We share a heritage of farming and wine in the Barossa Valley along with design and property backgrounds. Together we form Waterton Hall Wines in our pursuit of excellence from soil care right through to the beautifully designed label on the bottle. Winner of 2021 Vin0 award - Tasmanian champion of sustainability credentials. We produce award-winning wines of Riesling, Shiraz, Viognier, Pinot Noir & Chardonnay and a wonderful venue for events, weddings, walking and tasting tours and a wonderful backdrop for photographers and filmmakers, having had TV ads, fashion and food & wine shoots at our property. We are now offering a gorgeous one king-bed luxury accommodation pod - 'NEST' - a restored 1850s cute building nestled in the shiraz vineyard overlooking the river. Beautiful and private. Accommodation can be booked online through Airbnb, Nest - 'Rowella'
