Visit one of the world's most beautiful beaches at the Bay of Fires. Departing from Launceston, travel amongst rainforests and farmlands of North East of Tasmania and enjoy a picnic lunch in an idyllic setting. Crystal azure blue waters with pristine white beaches and outcrops of orange lichen covered granite rocks, the scenery at the Bay of Fires is simply breathtaking. A contrasting tour of breath-taking scenery with views from kunanyi/Mt Wellington to the harsh stories of life as a female convict inside the Cascade Female Factory. On this fully escorted tour of Mt Wellington we pass through various eco systems and experience the harsh alpine environment to the summit where on a clear day the views are stunning. Leaving from Hobart (at Brooke St Pier or selected hotels included) there will be commentary from your driver/guide and a short visit to Historic Richmond Village for a photo opportunity as you will be travelling on our sightseeing Day Tour coach.
