Experience the wild heart of Tasmania with Tasmanian Photography Tours owner, Ben Wilkinson, in this signature landscape photography workshop. Designed for adventurers and photography enthusiasts alike, you'll hike into Tasmania's untamed wilderness, capturing dramatic landscapes, ancient forests, and the island's rich and diverse flora. Ben will lead you into the wild places of Tasmania's West Coast to see what the ancient Gondwana landscapes must have looked like. These tours are not for the faint of heart, it is the West Coast of Tasmania in late Autumn so it will be cold, wet and muddy. You must be prepared to carry your own gear uphill, walk in all weather conditions for 4-6 hours each day over 3 days. Each day concludes with a dry, warm bed and a hearty meal beside the fire in an old mountain cabin. There's no electricity, no phone signal and it is fantastic, if you love nature and you're not afraid of getting a little breathless in the quest for stunning images, these tours will blow your mind.

Tasmanian Photography Tours are teaming up with Pennicott Wilderness Cruises to deliver Sunrise Cruises to Tasman Island – offering you the rare opportunity to witness this iconic location at first light. There are sunrises, and then there is sunrise at Tasman Island. Departing in the dark, you'll journey across the waters of the Tasman Peninsula, guided by the moon and stars, before watching the day break over sheer sea cliffs and the towering silhouette of Tasman Island. It's a front-row seat to one of Tasmania's most dramatic and unforgettable dawns. Along the way, you'll capture the changing moods of the Tasman Sea, witness the highest sea cliffs in the southern hemisphere and have the chance to see and marine wildlife including seals, albatrosses, sea eagles and whales during migration season.
