Experience the new and old and step back in time with a helicopter tour to Woolmers Estate, one of the most intact pioneer farming complexes in the nation. Departing from Launceston, fly above the city's CBD and spectacular Cataract Gorge, before following the winding South Esk river past the townships of Hadspen and Longford. As we descend to land, the expansive grounds and beautifully preserved buildings come into view, offering a glimpse into the rich heritage of the estate. Upon landing, guests will be welcomed by guides who are eager to share the captivating history of Woolmers Estate - from its early colonial beginnings to its significance in Tasmania's heritage. The house tour itself promises an immersive experience, taking visitors through the various rooms adorned with period furnishings and artifacts that tell the story of the Archer family's legacy. Guests will have the opportunity to explore the estate's lush gardens, outbuildings and the National Rose Garden; each area meticulously maintained to reflect its historical importance. At the conclusion of the tour, make your way to Woolmers Café & Restaurant to enjoy a two-course country inspired luncheon before returning by helicopter to Launceston.
