Minnow Cabins, at Sheffield in northern Tasmania, offers self-contained accommodation in a bush setting. The two timber cabins are located in a peaceful, natural bush environment. Named after the famous Yorkshire town, Sheffield is located 30 km south of Devonport and 93 km west of Launceston. It is known as the 'Town of Murals' due to the huge number of paintings on public buildings, which depict the early history of the area. From Sheffield, you can tour to Cradle Mountain National Park, Lake Barrington (International Rowing Course), the Mole Creek Wildlife Park, and Mole Creek Caves.
