Find yourself immersed in nature with a small group, guided walk across the Western Lakes to Powena Creek in the beautiful Walls of Jerusalem National Park, a magnificent World Heritage Area that provides protection and sanctuary for a diversity of undisturbed habitats which are home to plants and animals that are rare and endemic to Tasmania. Your fully guided and supported journey begins as we cross the Central Plateau entering a unique, glaciated landscape, hosting an extensive network of highland lakes, trout-filled lagoons, pine lined tarns and crystal clear streams. The area is abundant with wildlife, sighting of wombats, Tasmanian Devils and wedge-tailed eagles are possible. Fully supported by two fantastic Miena Village wilderness guides.
