Xani Looping Workshop

Explore looping, improvisation and creative play with electric violinist Xani Are you curious about looping, improvisation or stretching the boundaries of your instrument or voice? Join Melbourne‑based electric violinist and vocalist Xani Kolac for an energetic workshop that introduces beginner looping skills, collaborative improvisation and new ways of approaching songwriting and performance. Whether you use an acoustic instrument, something electric, or your own voice, Xani will guide participants through building loops, experimenting with texture and rhythm, and exploring how spontaneous ideas can evolve into exciting musical moments. Bring along your instrument and any pedals or loopers you've been itching to try out. You're also welcome to attend as an observer if you'd prefer to watch the creative chaos unfold. Everyone is welcome to attend. However, to get the most out of the session, participants should be aged 14+ and able to play their instrument (or use their voice) at a competent level. This helps ensure the group can dive into creative work without needing beginner‑level instruction. Join in for an inspiring and playful workshop that celebrates curiosity, experimentation and the joy of making music together.
