Huon Valley Day Trip

Apple Shed
Airwalk
Vineyard
Luxury Transport
A full day in the Huon Valley, the river country south of Hobart, built around its growers, makers and landscapes. The route leaves the city over kunanyi / Mount Wellington, with panoramic views before descending through Fern Tree into the valley. Morning tea is on the banks of the Huon River. From there the day moves between riverside towns, country bakeries, cider houses and boutique vineyards, with tastings of seasonal produce direct from the people making it. Lunch is at Willie Smith's, The Old Bank or The Kiln, depending on the day and your preference. Afternoons can include a guided bushwalk, a gentle paddle on the Huon River, or a privately hosted tour of an organic farm. In the cooler months the day can finish at a floating wood-fired sauna on the river. Morning tea, lunch, park fees and tastings are included, with door-to-door service from your Hobart accommodation.
