Port Arthur and Tasman Peninsula Private Full Day Tour

Port Arthur
Luxury Transport
A full day on the Tasman Peninsula, around ninety minutes east of Hobart, where convict history sits against some of the highest sea cliffs in Australia. Pick-up is at 8:30am for the drive out across the Derwent and along the coast, past lagoons and estuaries. Eaglehawk Neck comes first, with views across Pirates Bay and the rock formations along the shore. The centrepiece is the Port Arthur Historic Site, part of the Australian Convict Sites World Heritage listing, explored at your own pace. A private guide can be arranged. The day also takes in oysters from a peninsula farm and a cool-climate tasting at a local vineyard, with lunch at a nearby venue. Short walks in Tasman National Park fill the afternoon before a scenic return to Hobart by about 5:30pm. Site entry, tastings and lunch are included.
