Held annually across the festive New Year period on the picturesque waterfront of nipaluna/Hobart, Tasmania's Taste of Summer is a celebration of the island's world class food and drink, culture, community and summer. A fun and inclusive family-friendly festival, Tasmania's Taste of Summer provides patrons with an immersive Tasmanian food and drink experience, with more than 70 stalls to choose from. The Taste of Summer stage showcases an eclectic line-up of well-known and emerging Tasmanian artists, and each year there is an iconic Australian act for the New Year's Eve festivities on the waterfront, also offering one of the best vantage points to ring in the New Year with fireworks over the harbour. Whether relaxing under the shade of Salamanca's Plane Trees watching the kids play on the lawns, or toasting the summer fleets as they sail by the wharf apron, Tasmania's Taste of Summer is the perfect way to experience the best of Tasmania's summer season!

Festivale is Tasmania’s premium summer event, a three day celebration designed to showcase Tasmanian food, beverages and entertainment. Staged in Launceston’s iconic City Park, the ambiance of this outdoor event is unique. Held annually, Festivale attracts around 30,000 patrons and takes place on the first weekend of February. Originally established in 1988 as a multi-cultural street party, it has evolved into an iconic Tasmanian event, drawing people together to celebrate what Tasmania has to offer the world. Festivale presents the best of Tasmania’s produce, cool climate wines, beers, spirits and exceptional entertainment in a historically and culturally significant outdoor location on the fringe of the city and is considered one of the best food and wine festivals in Australia. Under historic elm trees, family and friends can relax in the wide open space of City Park. Listen and watch Fresh Comedy (Friday) get ready to rock and be entertained by local artists plus headline acts live on stage including: Sample and learn at masterclasses which are held over the weekend. Watch Celebrity Guest Chef, plus amazing Tasmanian chefs in action, as they showcase some of the finest Tasmanian produce in the park. Festivale provides an opportunity to ‘taste’ and experience the best of what Tasmania has to offer.

TrailGraze is a new way to taste your way around Tasmania's North West. Hosted by the Tasting Trail, this weekend is all about real food, real makers and plenty of flavour. Things kick off with a special Tasting Trail dinner, showcasing the best of what our producers do best. Celebrate with over 40 growers, makers and farms opening their doors for a weekend of eating, sipping, and meeting the people behind the produce. TrailGraze runs 10–12 April 2026 — one big weekend of local flavour, Tassie hospitality and good times on the Trail.

The East Coast Harvest Odyssey, known as ECHO Festival, is a boutique Festival of the Senses held each March on a historic farm site in Swansea, a seaside town on Tasmania's East Coast wine route. Party In The Paddock officially returns for its 13th annual pilgrimage, four unforgettable days of music, art, community and connection in the heart of Tasmania. From humble beginnings as a few-hundred-person gathering with local bands and a hay bale stage, Party In The Paddock has evolved into Tasmania's largest multi-day camping festival. For over a decade, we've delivered an incredible atmosphere and good times, drawing festival lovers from across Australia and beyond for their annual trip to the Paddock. This independent music and arts festival has become a national treasure and cult favourite, built by its community and guided by an all-inclusive, culturally minded ethos. Known for punching above its weight with diverse, genre-spanning lineups, PITP proudly holds its place as "the country's biggest little music & arts festival." What to Expect: The Paddock experience kicks off with the Thursday Night Pre-Party, an exclusive opener for early arrivals, featuring a handpicked lineup of top Australian artists and high energy performances to set the tone for the weekend. Then from Friday through Sunday, the festival launches into three full days of music, art, performance, and pure Paddock magic across six unique stages. Expect 180+ acts, immersive art installations, late night mischief at the Silvertongue Stage, wellness spaces, delicious local food, and that unmatched Paddock energy that keeps everyone coming back year after year.
